The Leadership Tolerance Test ®, Change Resistance Drivers ® Test and Coachability Quotient ® Test were developed by LTT Analytics Director Ben Dobbs - a leadership trainer and executive coach with years of experience in the field working with major companies and organisations internationally on intensive training, coaching and development courses and programmes (in the UK, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Italy, Poland, Macedonia, Russia and China).

Development of The Leadership Tolerance Test ®:

Through extensive experience training and coaching leaders, Ben designed The Leadership Tolerance Test ® to assess the impact an actual or potential leader has or could have based on the principle that it is what a leader can or cannot accept (and therefore the action that a leader does or does not take) that shapes the culture of an organisation.

Development of The Change Resistance Drivers ® Test:

Based on Ben's experience with coaching and training strategic leaders as well as supporting managers and staff through coaching in times of change and transition, Ben identified 12 factors, that he referred to as "drivers" that cause individuals to oppose / resist change efforts. This led to the creation of The Change Resistance Drivers ® Test to diagnose the root cause of resistance to change amongst respondents and therefore allow change leaders and managers to take appropriate action.

Development of The Coachability Quotient ® Test:

From thousands of hours of coaching, Ben noticed a range of behaviours and mindsets that contributed to a successful coaching relationship and coaching outcomes - these 15 factors all occurred in different measures with different individuals but all served to make a person "coachable". This is the basis of the Coaching Quotient ® Test and what we seek to measure based on the simple premise that the higher the score, the more likely it is that coaching will be the right form of development for an individual.

Development of The Strategy Mode ® Test:

​Based on competences required for effective strategic leadership, the Strategy Mode ® Test was developed to identify a strategic leader's preference (their "mode") for how they set and implement organisational strategy.
